With over 30 years of culinary expertise, Chef Daniel's passion for food was ignited during his apprenticeship at Neil Perry's iconic Rockpool in Sydney, where he mastered the foundations of modern Australian cuisine.
Fusion cuisine is his playground. His culinary journey has taken him to world-class resorts in the Bahamas and America, where he perfected his craft and developed a unique style that celebrates both innovation and tradition.
In 2009, Daniel and Co-Owner Jennifer Lee launched successful catering ventures across Sydney and Queensland. Now at Saltwater, they bring that excellence to Magnetic Island, showcasing the finest local seafood and seasonal produce with Daniel's signature fusion flair.
